The National Co-ordination Team (NCT) works on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Department for Higher and Further Education, Training and Employment (DHFETE) to manage and co-ordinate initiatives focused on encouraging innovation and new developments within learning and teaching.
Currently, the NCT co-ordinates 96 Fund for the Development of Teaching and Learning (FDTL) projects and 32 Teaching and Learning Technology Programme (TLTP) projects. Together with Action on Access and the National Disability Team, the NCT also works with 50 projects as part of the Innovations Team, funded by the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE).
